Kool Taj The Gr8
Taj Collins, besser bekannt als Kool Taj The Gr8 aka The Boom Bap General, aus Buffalo New York, ist bereits seit Anfang der 90er Jahre aktiv im Hip-Hop.
2017 erschien sein Underground Mixtape „Behind Bars Mixtape“, gefolgt von „Bars Still Matter“ im Jahr 2018. Beide sind im Internet auf verschiedenen Mixtapeseiten zu finden.
2019 und 2020 erschien dann jeweils ein Album. 2019 wurde „Down the Block & Around the Corner“ released und im Jahr 2020 folgte dann „When Iron Sharps Iron“ mit dem Produzenten Stan Da‘ Man.
Im Juni 2021 war es dann soweit und sein neuestes Projekt „From the Park Bench Era“ wurde digital auf Bandcamp veröffentlicht. Im November 2021 folgte dann die physische Veröffentlichung auf Vinyl.
Neben seinen großartigen Alben, hat Kool Taj The Gr8 2020 noch eine Single „LLAYERS“ mit dem legendären Pete Rock veröffentlicht, in der die Lo-Life Culture gefeiert wird.

2021 he release his newest project „From the Park Bench Era“, which was digitally released in June 2021 and seen in November 2021 in physical format the light of day.
Beside his great LP releases, Kool Taj The Gr8 released 2020 a hit record with Pete Rock entitled „LLAYERS“, which pays homage to the fascinating Lo-Life culture (Ralph Lauren).
